They mainly concentrate on creating awareness to the public on civic matters such as urging them to register as voters (Fair Vote, 2015 ). Since the public trusts them, many follow their stand. They have become an agent of change in society, whether negatively or positively. Their presence in political matters is impossible to ignore. MoveOn.org is a non-profit organisation registered in two parts. One is a 501(c) (3) group while the other is under the PAC. The organisation shook the decision of the House of Representatives when it opposed its impeachment against Clinton. The court had to pronounce him innocent because of their voice. They used the internet to influence people’s preferences and eventually, they won. It shows just how powerful non-profit organisations can be, especially with t he right tools.
